The Project

Do you or your family member want to feature in a brand new temporary exhibition at Bentley Priory Museum in 2022?

If yes, you are in the right place. We are looking for people who experienced The Blitz in London from September 7th 1940 - May 11th 1941 for a new oral histories project.

Why now?

More so than ever it is important to document the living memories of those who experience history, not only to preserve it, but to educate new generations to come about what their ancestors, country and world has been through.

How will your story be used?

The oral history interviews will be used to create a one of a kind multi sensory exhibition at Bentley Priory Museum, that will help tell the stories of those who experienced The Blitz in London in a new a perspective.

Come to Bentley Priory Museum on the 30th September and 7th October to participate in an Oral History workshop, where you will have the opportunity to talk about your experience of The Blitz while taking in the beautiful surroundings of what was once home to RAF Fighter command.
